The best means of transport for medium to long distances is the car. To get to the lake there is an hourly shuttle bus every day that leaves from Piazzale Roma (approx. 500m). The railway station for trains in the direction of Viterbo-Orte is 4 km away.
The farmhouse is located in an area of great natural and historical-artistic interest: Lake Bolsena and its Bisentina and Martana islands, for long walks and fun bike rides; the nearby thermal spa district of Viterbo, with its beneficial sulphurous waters; the Basilica of Santa Margherita, with the third largest dome in Italy; the ancient Rocca dei Papi with the Sangallo museum; the historic Romanesque-Gothic church of San Flaviano.
